Kenny Riedell is one of the Counselors in Friday the 13th: The Game, and is nicknamed "The Head Counselor".[1] He is one of the six counselors already unlocked in the beginning of the game, the others being Chad Kensington, Jenny Myers, Vanessa Jones, Sheldon "Shelly" Finkelstein, and Thomas "Tommy" Jarvis.
Overview[ | ]
He's smart, organized and a natural leader who oozes charisma. He can keep himself composed in even the most dire of situations which makes him someone you want to be around when Jason is nearby.[1]
Gameplay[ | ]
Kenny lives by the creed of "jack of all trades, master of none." With a 5/10 in every stat, Kenny doesn't show any glaring weaknesses, while also not having any great strengths. However, there are some things to consider.
With a 5 in his Composure and Stealth, Kenny is not meant for hiding from Jason. He will have to crouch walk in order to avoid producing noise to Jason, and his Composure means that prolonged encounters with Jason will leave you a panicking mess. However, Kenny does have potential with fighting and fleeing from Jason, as his Stamina, Speed, Strength and Luck allow him to effectively run and fight Jason should he need to. His repair is also great for when there is time to repair objectives. Just make sure you have the time needed to get it done, as it is about as fast as Jason's recovery from a stun.
Overall, Kenny can hold his own, but is best suited for working with a team. Whether this team be repair or distraction oriented, however, doesn't really matter for Kenny as he can easily adapt to whatever situation arises.
While Kenny isn't the best at anything, this average counselor can be well suited for whatever the situation calls for, so make sure not to underestimate him. Whether it's fixing objectives himself, being a distraction, or going face to face with Jason, you can bet that Kenny can do it, no matter what situation!
Virtual Cabin 2.0[ | ]
In the Virtual Cabin he and Tiffany can be found having sex.
Appearance[ | ]
This article is a stub. You can help Friday the 13th: The Game Wiki by expanding it. |
Kenny Riedell wears a red flannel shirt, knee high shorts, and hiking boots. Representing the "Head Counselor" trope, he's the one who other counselors lean on for guidance and/or assistance within the group. Due to his skin color, he appears to possibly be either Latino, Hispanic, Italian, or Mestizo, but there's no confirmation yet on what his actual ethnicity is. He is more muscular than Chad, but less lean, and sports more body hair than his fellow male counselors.
He has additional clothing packs unlocked from purchasing Downloadable Content.
