Rob Dier is the first victim in every intro starting a round for Friday the 13th: The Game.
Appearance[]
He's a tall, white-skinned man who wears a dark flannel shirt, jeans, and boots, suggesting an affinity for the outdoors.
Gameplay[]
Rob Dier, having been murdered by Jason in the start of the match, is currently an unplayable counselor. His death causes the other counselors to panic; they run into the woods for safety, which then starts the round.
His body can be found in varying cabins each match, however, the counselors have no reaction to seeing him. Jason is believed to be the one who stashes Rob's body in a cabin before the round begins. This also suggests Jason planted the dead body on purpose in order to scare the counselors.
Trivia[]
- Rob's character design is based on the character of the same name from the movie Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.
- He was the only counselor whose name and appearance are directly based on a character from the Friday the 13th film series until Fox and Sheldon "Shelly" Finkelstein was added in a later update; Tommy Jarvis isn't considered a counselor.
- Ironically, despite hunting Jason down to avenge his deceased sister in the movies, he's the first counselor to die in the game.
- The developers of the game refer to this counselor as the ''Shrek dude,'' due to his cartoon-like appearance when testing kills on him while making the game.
